ABOUT OYAK CONCRETE 

Ready-mixed concrete production and sales, which had been offered as a secondary service under OYAK Cement, were consolidated under a separate corporate identity in 2004 as OYAK Beton Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., with the aim of increasing organizational efficiency in response to rapid sectoral growth and rising demand. As part of the strategic restructuring implemented in 2025, the company was positioned under CIMPOR Yapı Malzemeleri A.Ş.

While CIMPOR Building Materials’ main field of activity is the production and sale of ready-mixed concrete, the company also aims to produce aggregate in-house. During the European Union harmonization process, aggregate became the top cost component in concrete production at some facilities—surpassing even cement—while significantly affecting both the quality and cost of concrete.

Since 2004, the facilities established have enabled OYAK Concrete to operate across the Marmara, Central Anatolia, Mediterranean, Aegean, and Black Sea regions. In addition, the company operates 25 aggregate quarries located in Istanbul, Dilovası/Kocaeli, Adana, İskenderun/Hatay, and Ankara.

OYAK Concrete is one of the ready-mixed concrete companies with the widest distribution network and highest production capacity in Turkey (9.514 million m³/year). To date, it has produced over 50–80 million m³ of concrete, becoming one of the leading names in the field.

As a company with strong environmental awareness that continuously evolves and renews itself in line with the changing conditions of the concrete industry, OYAK Concrete is not only an indispensable solution partner offering creative alternatives in many major projects, but also a specialist organization in its field.

  • 100-year lifespan concrete produced for the Marmaray Project
  • Turkey’s first production and placement of C80 class SKYBET concrete for the Spine Tower Project
  • Kahramanmaraş Municipality Building constructed using white concrete, including load-bearing columns
  • ITU Ayazağa Campus National High Performance Computing Center Building constructed entirely with colored concrete
  • 52 cm thick dome interior sprayed concrete produced for the Presidential Symphony Orchestra Building Project
  • The first in-tunnel concrete road
  • The first use of a finisher
  • The first 50-meter-long distributor boom installed at the Yenikapı plant for concrete supply to the Marmaray project

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

2004  

Ready-mixed concrete production and sales provided as a secondary service under the roof of OYAK Cement Group factories for almost a quarter century is reorganized under the same roof with a different corporate company identity in order to upgrade professionalism and further increase the organizational efficiency triggered by the rapid developments and increased demand in the industry. On March 30, 2004, OYAK Beton Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is established with the cash capital contribution of OYAK and in-kind capital contribution of Adana Cement, Bolu Cement, and Ünye Cement  

2008  

OYAK purchases the French company Lafarge Aslan Çimento’s factory and ready-mixed concrete plants in 2008, and expands its area of activity with the incorporation of Marmara ready-mixed concrete plants into OYAK Concrete.  

2010  

During December 2010, shares of OYAK, the main shareholder of OYAK Concrete are purchased by Adana, Bolu, Ünye, and Aslan Cement, which are among OYAK Group’s cement companies.
